    Itinerary

    Travel arrangements – If you can partner up with people for the drive up and split the fuel costs accordingly.  We appreciate that on the Friday we all have a various commitments so get up there when you can. . If you are willing  to drive and have other people already going with you then let me us know,  also if you have a space available in your car please let us know and we can introduce you to someone looking to car share.

    Food & Drink – Please buy what you need to eat and drink in advance, although there maybe a small local shop I do not imagine that there will a major supermarket nearby.

    Kit List

    Listed below are the items you should bring; the weather can be quite unpredictable and different on each mountain. It is best to bring light layers that are easy to pack away and dry, sports gear is fine. You will need something to carry food and drink in on the mountain but keep it small and lightweight. You can do the walking in trail shoes; walking boots are not necessary so don’t buy if you don’t have a pair.

    Please bring a head torch as you may need this if we are off schedule on the mountain or for worst case scenarios

    • Blister gear
    • Sleeping Bag & Pillow
    • Towel
    • Clothes for pub & Sunday drive home

    Friday 15th May

    Make your way up to the Bunk House when you can, we can not check in until 1600. From Oxford it is approx 220 miles

    From Kirkby Lonsdale/Lancaster enter Ingleton on the A65. At the Old Brewery Inn turn right onto Tatterthorn Lane, turn right at the row of cottages.

    From Settle/Skipton enter Ingleton on the A65. At the Old Brewey Inn turn left onto Tatterthorn Lane, turn right at the row of cottages.

    YOU WILL NEED SLEEPING BAG & PILLOW

    Once there, settle in and have a look round followed by evening dinner at the local pub.

    Saturday 16th May

    0415 start – Early rise, prepare and breakfast

    0445 – Drive to start point

    0500 – Start (the objective is complete the 3 Peaks  in 12 hours)

    1700-1800 finish and return

    1800-1900 Swimming Pool Private use (£5.00 each)

    2000 – Pub Dinner

    2300 – Pass out

    Leisurely morning – Tidy up, check up and depart for home
